about us
Honoring the Life and Legacy of Antonio Angel Ortiz

The Tactical Tone Memorial Foundation was established in loving memory of Antonio Angel Ortiz, whose life and spirit continue to inspire everything we do.
Antonio was just 24 years old when he passed away from renal medullary carcinoma (RMC), a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer that disproportionately affects young people and is often diagnosed too late. Known for his strength, resilience, and compassion, he left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His legacy lives on through this foundation, shaped by the passions and values that defined him.

Why We Exist

Renal medullary carcinoma is a disease that is not widely understood, frequently misdiagnosed, and devastating to patients and families. Too many people have never heard of RMC until it touches their lives personally.

The Tactical Tone Memorial Foundation exists to help change that.

We are committed to:

-
Raising awareness of renal medullary carcinoma
-
Supporting individuals and families impacted by the disease
-
Honoring lives lost through remembrance and community events
-
Supporting education and advancing research efforts focused on improving understanding and outcomes

Our Approach

As a newly established nonprofit organization, our work is intentionally thoughtful and phased. We believe in building a strong foundation rooted in transparency, integrity, and responsible stewardship. Our programs and initiatives are inspired by Antonio's passions and values, which continue to guide the work we do.

Our activities may include:

-
Awareness and memorial events
-
Educational outreach
-
Community engagement, including culinary, outdoor, and skills-based activities inspired by Antonio's passions

All programs and initiatives are guided by our mission and evolve based on community needs and available resources.

Carrying Antonio’s Legacy Forward

Antonio was known for his loyalty, heart, and strength. The Tactical Tone Memorial Foundation was created not only to honor his memory, but to ensure that his story brings awareness, connection, and hope to others.

Through remembrance, education, and advocacy, we strive to keep Antonio’s legacy alive while shining a light on a disease that deserves greater understanding and attention.

Looking Ahead

We are in our early stages of growth and development and are grateful to the community members, families, and supporters who are walking alongside us.

Over time, we strive to support progress in research, awareness, and care related to renal medullary carcinoma while continuing Antonio's legacy by inspiring others to pursue their passions and make a positive impact in their communities.

We invite you to stay connected, learn more about renal medullary carcinoma, and help us honor lives impacted by this disease.
